ICU Eyewear Packaging Redesign

Class Project 2019

This project had us redesigning the packaging for ICU Eyewear’s reading glasses. I chose to go simple with my packaging, designing a hang tag that allows for more glasses to be displayed in a smaller area. This smaller packaging also leaves a smaller eco footprint as it’s 100% Recyclable. I wanted to focus on the good ICU Eyewear tries to do for the environment and those in need through their donation program, by mentioning both on the hang tag.

Visual Assistant Magnetic Eyewear

For this project designers needed to create a marketing campaign for an item of their choosing offered on Kickstarter. The item I chose was something I would personally use. Visual Assistant Magnetic Eyewear, designed with different magnetic lenses for different weather or light conditions. I wanted to highlight the unique features of such a product, especially as someone who is both monocular and suffered from light sensitivity issues. I created an e-blast, animated GIF and branding guide for this project.
